From seasickness to success

Abraham Kongsvik and Alf Sandvik, who are both in their early thirties, are on drift net fishing aboard the cutter ”Skongsnes.” Alf is plagued by seasickness. Both have previously worked at a local workshop, and are thus familiar with the repair of wooden boats. There aboard the idea was born to start their own workshop. Commencement of the enterprise is believed to have been March 27th 1943.
